Job Description
Blys, a leading company in the Internet industry, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Junior Accountant to join our team. With our innovative platform, we provide on-demand wellness services to customers across Australia, New Zealand, the US and the UK. As a Junior Accountant at Blys, you will play a vital role in managing our financial operations, ensuring accurate financial records, and collaborating with various teams to support the company's growth and success.Please note that this is a full-time role based in our office in Kathmandu. The work time is from 8 AM to 5 PM.
Responsibilities:
- Perform bookkeeping and reconciliation
- Perform payroll for staff spread across 3 countries
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Monitor Accounts Email and chase payments
- Assist in month-end and year-end financial close processes
- Assist in Preparing monthly management reports
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
- Assist with tax compliance and provide support for audits and reviews
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience with Xero/Quickbooks/Tigg
- Knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in accounting software and Google Sheets
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work multiple tasks under pressure
