Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead, mentor, and motivate the admissions/business development team to consistently achieve monthly and quarterly enrolment & revenue targets.
• Drive the end-to-end sales lifecycle – lead generation, counselling, program presentations, conversions, and post-sales support.
• Monitor sales funnel quality, forecast accurately, and implement strategies to improve conversion rates.
• Provide continuous training to counsellors on program knowledge, sales techniques, and customer engagement best practices.
• Foster a high-performance, growth-oriented culture with focus on talent retention and development.
• Set, monitor, and analyze KPI-driven performance metrics for individuals and the team.
• Promote and strengthen the value proposition of UpGrad Study Abroad’s programs to students and parents.
What We Are Looking For:
• Mandatory: Demonstrated success in high-ticket B2C sales.
• Minimum 5+ years of consultative B2C sales experience; exposure to education/EdTech sales is an advantage.
• Experience managing teams of sales executives and/or team leaders.
• Excellent English communication skills (written & verbal) with strong interpersonal ability.
• Highly data-driven with capability to design, implement, and optimize sales processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a solution-oriented approach.
• High emotional intelligence, with empathy and patience when engaging with students and parents.
• Exceptional sales acumen with proven expertise in closing high-value deals.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) preferred.
