TBG Nepal is an education consultancy located in Kamaladi, primarily recruiting students for Australia, Canada, UK and USA. We are looking for an experienced, ethical and knowledgable Australian counselor to join our growing team.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Kathmandu for an Australia Counsellor. The Australia Counsellor will be responsible for providing guidance and support to students seeking education opportunities in Australia. This includes handling enquiries, assessing student profiles, guiding students through the application process, and conducting visa counselling. Additionally, the counselor will conduct information sessions, manage documentation, and liaise with educational institutions and immigration authorities.
Qualifications
- Experience in student counselling and providing educational guidance
- Knowledge of the Australian education system, universities, and visa regulations
- Excellent interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in handling documentation and managing application processes
- Ability to conduct information sessions and present to groups
- Problem-solving skills and capacity to handle student concerns
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, or related field
- Experience with educational consultancy or similar services is a mandatory
