Job Description
Responsibilities
- Student Counseling: Provide personalized guidance to students on study opportunities, university choices, program options, and career prospects in Malta, Spain, Australia, Finland, and the UK.
- Application Management: Assist students with the entire application process, including advising on required documents, eligibility criteria, and application submission for each country.
- Visa Guidance: Help students understand and prepare for visa applications in the countries listed, including offering advice on visa documentation, health insurance, financial proof, and timelines.
- Scholarships & Financial Aid: Advise students on available scholarships, grants, and financial aid options for each country to reduce the financial burden of studying abroad.
- University Liaison: Establish and maintain relationships with universities, institutions, and embassy representatives in these countries to ensure the most accurate and up-to-date information for students.
- Pre-Departure Support: Provide students with essential pre-departure information regarding accommodation, culture, legal requirements, and settling into their new country.
- Post-Arrival Support: Assist students with settling into their new environment, including helping them with any issues that arise after their arrival, such as registering with local authorities, setting up bank accounts, etc.
- Regular Updates: Keep students informed about new courses, changing regulations, scholarship opportunities, and deadlines.
Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Education, International Relations, Counseling, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
Experience:
- At least 1 year of experience working as a study abroad counselor or in a similar role.
- Strong familiarity with the admission processes, visa requirements, and scholarship options for Malta, Spain, Australia, Finland, and the UK.
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), with the ability to explain complex information clearly and effectively.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple student applications, deadlines, and tasks at once.
- Proficiency in student management software (e.g., CRM systems, application portals).
- Fluency in English
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills to handle various student concerns.
