Job Description

Key Responsibility Areas:


1. Restaurant Floor Operations Management

  • Supervise service flow and floor activities.
  • Monitor table turnover and service timelines.
  • Address operational disruptions promptly.


2. Team Leadership and Development

  • Conduct regular team briefings and training sessions.
  • Set performance expectations and monitor progress.
  • Provide coaching and recognition for high performance.


3. Guest Service Excellence

  • Monitor staff interactions with guests.
  • Handle guest requests and concerns swiftly.
  • Maintain high service standards and ambiance.


4. Quality Control

  • Conduct regular checks on food and drink before service.
  • Report any inconsistencies or quality concerns to the kitchen/bar.
  • Ensure staff adhere to presentation guidelines.


5. Guest Complaint Resolution

  • Acknowledge and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
  • Follow up with guests post-resolution.
  • Report significant complaints to the Restaurant Manager.


6. Staff Scheduling and Management

  • Assist with shift scheduling and roster planning.
  • Track staff attendance and punctuality.
  • Provide input during staff performance reviews.


7. Dining Area Maintenance

  • Perform regular cleanliness audits.
  • Ensure proper table setups and cleanliness protocols.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping or support teams as required.


8. Cross-Departmental Coordination

  • Communicate guest preferences and allergies promptly.
  • Coordinate order timings and service flow.
  • Resolve communication gaps between teams.


9. Inventory Monitoring and Procurement

  • Conduct daily checks on service essentials and consumables.
  • Report shortages and reorder requirements.
  • Prevent wastage through proper stock rotation.


10. Health & Safety Compliance

  • Conduct regular safety and sanitation checks.
  • Ensure team awareness and adherence to safety SOPs.
  • Report incidents and enforce corrective actions.


11. Reporting and Documentation

  • Submit daily operational summaries.
  • Record guest feedback and complaints.
  • Track and report staff performance issues and improvements.


Qualification and Experience:

  • Bachelor's in Hotel Management / Bachelor's in Hospitality Management
  • 3-5 years of Experience in the Relevant Field
  • Good Communication Skills (English, Nepali, Hindi)
