Full Stack Developer - Remote (Nepal)

Job Description

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using modern full-stack technologies
• Build responsive, user-friendly frontend interfaces using React or Angular
• Develop robust backend APIs and services using object-oriented programming languages
• Implement and maintain database solutions (SQL and NoSQL)
• Ensure code quality through testing, code reviews, and best practices

• Work closely with US-based product managers and designers (Central timezone overlap required)
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing
• Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning and retrospectives
• Collaborate with DevOps teams for deployment and infrastructure management

• Optimize application performance and scalability
• Implement security best practices and data protection measures
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends
• Contribute to technical documentation and system architecture decisions

• Around 5 years of professional full-stack development experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• Proven track record of delivering complex web applications from concept to production

• Expert proficiency in either React or Angular
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
• Experience with state management libraries (Redux, NgRx, Zustand)
• Familiarity with CSS frameworks (Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, Material-UI)
• Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility

• Strong proficiency in any one object-oriented programming language:
• Java (Spring Boot, Spring Framework)
• C# (.NET Core, ASP.NET)
• Python (Django, FastAPI, Flask)
• Node.js (Express, Nest.js)
• Experience with RESTful API design and implementation
• Knowledge of database design and optimization (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)
• Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth)

• Proficiency with version control systems (Git, GitHub/GitLab)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Understanding of testing frameworks and methodologies

• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities
• Experience working with international teams and clients
• Adaptability to work across different time zones (availability during US business hours preferred)

• Experience with MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js)
• Knowledge of TypeScript
• Familiarity with mobile development (React Native, Flutter)
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Knowledge of GraphQL
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Previous experience working with US-based companies or clients

• AWS Certified Developer or similar cloud certifications
• Relevant framework certifications (React, Angular, etc.)
