Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Chef located in the Chitwan District (NIGHT) . The Assistant Chef will be responsible for assisting in meal preparation, managing kitchen inventory, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring that the dishes meet our quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include chopping vegetables, cooking various dishes according to recipes, plating meals for delivery, and maintaining hygiene standards in the kitchen. The Assistant Chef will also assist in creating new menu items and managing food storage.
Qualifications
- Basic cooking skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques
- Attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage kitchen inventory
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Flexibility to work late-night hours and weekends
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen is a plus
- A culinary degree or relevant certification is beneficial
