Job Description

Pace Code is hiring a Business Development Officer to fuel our growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving revenue. As a software company focused on delivering high-quality solutions, we’re looking for someone who understands the tech landscape, communicates with confidence, and has a proven track record in sales and relationship-building.

Responsibilities

  • Identify potential clients and business opportunities through research, networking, and outreach.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
  • Create and present compelling proposals and business pitches tailored to client needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (development, marketing, and design) to align services with market demands.
  • Track market trends, analyze competitors, and recommend strategies for business growth.
  • Set and achieve sales targets, regularly reporting on performance and pipeline.
  • Attend industry events, webinars, and conferences to represent Pace Code and build our brand.
  • Work closely with the management team to develop short-term and long-term business development strategies.


Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition, preferably in the tech or software sector.
  • Have worked with International clients.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of the software development process and ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to generate leads, close deals, and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce) and MS Office/Google Workspace.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field.


Nice to Have

  • Experience working with SaaS, custom software solutions, or tech startups.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing and lead generation strategies.
  • Established professional network in local or international markets.
  • Previous experience with proposal writing or RFP responses.
