Job Title: Factory Finance Manager


Location: Hetauda, Lothaar

Department: Finance

Reports to: Finance Head / Plant Head


Role Overview:


We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented finance professional with 5–7 years of experience to lead the finance function at our beverage manufacturing unit. The role requires strong financial control, cost optimization, budgeting, and analytical capabilities to support factory operations efficiently and ensure compliance with corporate and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:


1. Financial Control & Reporting

• Ensure accurate and timely monthly closing of books for the factory.

• Maintain and reconcile plant-level P&L, balance sheet, and working capital reports.

• Track variances against budgets and investigate significant deviations.

• Ensure accurate inventory valuation and provisioning (raw material, WIP, FG).


2. Costing & Cost Optimization

• Maintain and update product costing including BOM, standard cost updates, and variance analysis.

• Identify cost-saving opportunities in utilities, packaging, manpower, and conversion costs.

• Conduct cost-benefit analysis for proposed process changes or CAPEX.


3. Budgeting & Forecasting

• Prepare annual factory budgets in coordination with operations, HR, and procurement teams.

• Drive monthly rolling forecasts for cost and production metrics.

• Support management in long-term financial planning and ROI analysis.


4. Compliance & Internal Controls

• Ensure adherence to internal controls, SOPs, and corporate financial policies.

Coordinate internal and statutory audits; ensure timely closure of audit points.

• Manage fixed asset accounting, tagging, physical verification, and depreciation tracking.


5. MIS & Analytics

• Generate factory MIS reports: daily production cost, yield loss, material consumption, utility costs.

• Track key KPIs (OEE, cost/ case, wastage %, labor productivity).

• Provide analytical insights to factory leadership to drive decisions.

6. Coordination & Stakeholder Management

• Act as a financial business partner to plant operations, QA, procurement, and HR.

• Coordinate with corporate finance for consolidation, compliance, and treasury needs.

• Support plant leadership in capex proposals, productivity projects, and vendor negotiations.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of manufacturing finance, cost accounting, and inventory controls.

• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/MS Dynamics) and MS Excel.

• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

• Effective communication and ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.

• Working knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, and other statutory compliance.


Qualification & Experience:

• CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) preferred.

• 5–7 years of experience in plant finance, preferably in FMCG, beverages, or food manufacturing.


Nice to Have:

• Exposure to lean manufacturing or Six Sigma projects.

• Experience in automation of reports using Power BI or data visualization tools.

• Prior experience with beverage bottling plants or high-speed packaging units.
