Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the administration and support of the SAP S/4HANA landscape (DEV, QAS, PRD), ensuring system health, performance, and availability.
- Manage and implement SAP Basis tasks including installations, configurations, upgrades, backups, and performance tuning.
- Oversee and maintain SAP Security design, role creation, authorization concepts, SSO, and segregation of duties.
- Drive and implement GRC/RAR/SOD initiatives across SAP environments.
- Execute end-to-end project lifecycle activities: planning, implementation, monitoring, testing, and documentation.
- Integrate SAP with third-party systems, monitor interfaces and resolve technical issues.
- Support basic ABAP development tasks including debugging, RAP, CDS views, AMDP, and performance tuning.
- Coordinate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to align technical solutions with business needs.
- Mentor and guide 2–3 technical team members as part of the leadership responsibilities.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master’s in Computer Science or related field.
- 3–5 years’ hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Basis and Security administration.
- Participated in 1–2 full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementations (on-premise or cloud).
- Deep expertise in:
- SAP HANA 2.0, HANA DB administration
- SAP Solution Manager 7.2, system monitoring, Test Suite
- SAP Security: Fiori, role maintenance, authorization management
- GRC, SAML 2.0, SSO, SNC, SSL
- HA/DR, Suse Clustering in Azure
- Backup tools like Rubrik with HANA Backint
- Familiar with SAP Router, BOOMI, SLT, Embedded Fiori, MDG, Interface/BPM Monitoring
- Basic proficiency in ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, OData services, and performance debugging
- Experience integrating SAP with cloud platforms and DevOps environments
- Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and leadership skills
Preferred Skills / Nice-to-Have
- Experience with Power BI and SAP Data Services
- Exposure to HANA Cloud Connector, XS Admin, SAP Cockpit, and SAP Analytics Cloud
- Understanding of SAP RAP model, UI5/Fiori development basics
- Knowledge of SUSE Linux OS administration in SAP environments
