Job Description
About CompanyHR and Admin Officer position is for professionals with at least three years of experience in human resources, and a strong understanding of HR functions and labor laws.The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to manage recruitment, employee relations, and performance management. The HR and Admin Officer will work closely with the HR team and management to ensure smooth HR operations, compliance, and employee engagement.
Responsibilities
- Recruitment and onboarding:
- Manage the recruitment process, including job opening, screening resumes, scheduling interviews and conducting interviews.
- Coordinate new employees’ orientation and onboarding process.
- Employee Relations
- Address employees' queries regarding HR related issues such as payroll, benefit, policies and procedures.
- Handle employees’ grievances and disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies and labor laws.
- Performance Management
- Support the performance appraisal process, including setting objectives, conducting performance reviews and providing feedback to employees.
- Assist in identifying training and development needs for employees.
- HR policies and procedures
- Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures in line with legal requirements and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Employee Records Management:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, attendance, leave, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of employee data.
- Training and Development
- Coordinate training programs and workshops to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Identify training needs through performance evaluations and employee feedback.
- Health and Safety compliance
- Implement health and safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
- Office Administration:
- Oversee general office operations, including maintenance of office facilities, supplies, and equipment.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for office services.
- Employee Engagement and Recognition:
- Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive work culture.
- Organize employee recognition programs to acknowledge and reward outstanding performance.
- Legal Compliances
- Stay updated on labor laws, regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance.
- Advise management on HR-related legal issues and potential risks.
- HR reporting and Analysis
- Prepare HR-related reports and analysis for management review.
- Track key HR metrics such as turnover rates, absenteeism, and employee satisfaction.
- Conflict Resolution
- Mediate conflicts and disputes between employees or between employees and management.
- Facilitate effective communication and problem-solving among team members.
- HR projects and Initiatives
- Lead or participate in HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving HR processes, employee engagement, or organizational effectiveness.
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum three (3) years of relevant experience in human resources
- Preferably worked in the IT Field
- Able to engage in meaningful negotiation and resolution
- Knowledge of employment legislation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Full understanding of HR functions and best practices
