Vacancy Announcement: Store Keeper – Hydropower Project
Position: Store Keeper
Location: Sankhuwasabha
Industry: Hydropower / Infrastructure
Type: Full-time, Site-Based
Experience: Minimum 2 years (Hydropower or Construction preferred)
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing materials and equipment.
- Monitor and manage site inventory levels, ensuring timely restocking and avoiding overstocking.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of materials as per site standards.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
- Work closely with the procurement and site engineering team to forecast material requirements.
- Inspect and verify the quality and quantity of received materials.
- Maintain documentation for receipts, transfers, issuances, and returns.
- Ensure safety and cleanliness of the store area.
- Prevent material losses, theft, and damage through strict control measures.
- Coordinate logistics of moving materials to different site areas as required.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum +2 or Diploma in Management or related field; Bachelor's preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in a store or warehouse role in hydropower, construction, or infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of inventory management systems and material tracking.
- Familiarity with construction and electrical/mechanical materials used in hydropower projects.
- Basic computer proficiency (Excel, Inventory software, email).
- High attention to detail, record-keeping, and time management.
- Ability to work independently under site conditions.
Work Conditions:
- Site-based role; candidate must be willing to stay at the project site for extended durations.
- Accommodation and meals will be provided by the company.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
