Assistant Account & Finance Head for Manufacturing Company in Kalanki, Kathmandu.

* Experiences: 3 years of experience as an Assistant Account & Finance Head in manufacturing/trading/service or any relevant industry
Key Responsibilities:
– Costing & Analysis
• Conduct product costing and variance analysis across production lines.
• Prepare and analyze cost control reports, highlighting deviations from standard costs and providing recommendations.
• Monitor and evaluate purchase cost, production cost, and indirect costs to ensure alignment with budgets and forecasts.
• Identify, implement, and monitor cost control measures to optimize operational efficiency.
• Support in budget preparation, including standard cost setting and periodic review.
– Compliance & Taxation
• Ensure accurate and timely filing of VAT, TDS, Excise, and other statutory returns.
• Assist in preparation and coordination of statutory audits, tax audits, and internal audits.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable Company Act provisions, tax laws, and government regulations.
– Financial Reporting
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements as per accounting standards and internal guidelines.
• Work closely with finance leadership on financial data analysis, reporting, and reconciliations.
– Interdepartmental Coordination
• Coordinate with production, procurement, logistics, and other departments for smooth financial closing.
• Maintain proper financial documentation and ensure accurate data management for reporting and audit readiness.
• Collaborate cross-functionally during year-end closing and to resolve discrepancies or gaps in financial data.
– Key Skills & Competencies:
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting
• Working knowledge of VAT, TDS, Excise, and tax compliance
• Familiarity with accounting software/ERP systems
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools
• Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
• Ability to coordinate with multiple departments and manage deadlines
