  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Management or a related field.
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum, and other project management methodologies.
  • Good understanding of project management tools like JIRA, Trello, or Asana.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of API testing using tools like Postman or Rest Assured, basic SQL experience for database testing, mobile and web app testing.
  • Solid experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)
  • Strong CI/CD knowledge – building and maintaining pipelines
  • Hands-on with Docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes)\
  • Skilled in scripting (Python, Bash, or similar)
  • Familiar with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools
  • Understanding of networking, security basics, and system troubleshooting
  • Comfortable in agile environments and working closely with dev teams

The Impact Zone

  • Set up and maintain cloud infrastructure to ensure performance, scalability, and availability.
  • Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate integration, testing, and deployment.
  • Continuously monitor system performance and respond to incidents to maintain uptime.
  • Work with developers, senior DevOps engineers, and stakeholders to align infrastructure with project needs.
  • Identify and implement tools to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
  • Ensure infrastructure and deployments adhere to security policies, compliance, and operational standards.
  • Follow and enforce infrastructure, security, and operational policies in daily work.
  • Maintain clear documentation to support transparency, continuity, and onboarding.
  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, contributing to sprint goals and continuous improvement.
  • Support or execute non-functional testing related to performance, security, and reliability.
  • Provide input on release reports and verify environment readiness for production releases.
  • Stay updated with evolving DevOps tools and practices to enhance individual and team capabilities.

Expected Strengths And Competencies

  • Proficient in Linux/Windows server setup and management.
  • Expertise in programming languages (e.g., Python or GoLang preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and workflows.
  • In-depth experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
  • Familiarity with Linux scripting.
  • Clear understanding of cloud services and computer networks.
  • Strong ability to work effectively as a team player.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), using tools like CloudFormation or Terraform.
