Overview:


Univive is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive to lead our international student recruitment efforts in Kathmandu, Nepal. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and executing innovative recruitment strategies, establishing key strategic partnerships, and driving business growth to expand Univive’s presence in the region. This role will be vital in enhancing our market competitiveness and ensuring a seamless student recruitment process.


Key Responsibilities:


Strategic Planning and Vision:

  • Develop and implement a strategic plan to boost Univive’s presence in Kathmandu, Nepal, with a focus on increasing international student enrolment.
  • Conduct in-depth market research to understand educational trends, competitor strategies, and emerging markets in Nepal.
  • Continuously refine strategies to ensure Univive remains ahead of market trends and maintains a competitive advantage in Nepal’s evolving education sector.


Partnership Development:

  • Identify and build strategic partnerships with local universities, educational institutions, and recruitment agencies to enhance international student recruitment.
  • Oversee partnership agreements, ensuring alignment with Univive’s objectives and compliance standards, and managing their successful execution.
  • Strengthen relationships with B2B partners, including educational agents and universities, to expand the recruitment network and drive enrolment growth.


Sales and Marketing:

  • Develop and execute tailored sales and marketing strategies to promote Univive’s offerings to prospective students and partners in Kathmandu and the surrounding region.
  • Create marketing materials, represent the company at industry events, and deliver presentations to raise brand awareness and boost recruitment efforts.
  • Utilize digital marketing strategies, attend educational fairs, and organize seminars to promote Univive’s services.


Student Recruitment:

  • Lead international student recruitment campaigns using digital marketing, direct outreach, and event participation in Kathmandu and Nepal.
  • Efficiently manage student inquiries through CRM systems, ensuring optimal conversion rates from first contact to application and enrolment.


Collaboration:

  • Work closely with admissions and academic departments to streamline application and enrolment processes for international students, ensuring smooth transitions and a seamless student experience.


Reporting, Analytics, and Operational Excellence:

  • Establish a robust reporting framework to track the effectiveness of recruitment and partnership strategies, leveraging data analytics for informed decision-making.
  • Provide regular reports and strategic updates to senior management, offering actionable insights and recommendations based on performance data.
  • Collaborate with the Admissions team to manage student application processes and ensure efficient processing of international student admissions.
  • Generate performance reports, monitor agent activity, and assess recruitment goals.


Qualifications and Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, education, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in international student recruitment within the higher education sector, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding recruitment targets.
  • Strong understanding of global higher education systems, admissions processes, and student visa regulations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders effectively.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement recruitment strategies tailored to the Nepalese market.
  • Results-oriented with a strong focus on achieving enrolment goals.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software; familiarity with student recruitment platforms is a plus.
  • Fluency in English and Nepali (additional fluency in regional languages is an advantage).
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
