Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
The jobholder is responsible for achieving the company's sales targets within corporate and governmental sectors by fostering strong relationships with corporate organisations and government entities.
Corporate Sales Activation
- Develop and execute long-term and short-term corporate sales strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Actively seek new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and visits to corporate prospects and existing customers.
- Expand corporate sales by delivering presentations or pitches highlighting the benefits of products and services to new and existing clients.
- Identify and capitalise on selling and cross-selling opportunities among various organizations.
- Plan and implement corporate sales campaigns on an annual, quarterly, and monthly basis.
- Organize and conduct test ride events at corporate locations.
- Create a wide range of sales materials in collaboration with the marketing team.
Governmental Sales Activation
- Proactively explore tender openings and sales opportunities in governmental organizations through networking and visits.
- Identify government organizations with budgets allocated for two-wheelers.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with key personnel in governmental organizations.
- Complete and submit tender applications in compliance with government requirements.
- Organize and conduct test ride events within governmental entities.
Public Relations and Database Management
- Foster positive public relations and uphold the company’s reputation with customers, corporate houses, NGOs, INGOs, banks, governmental organizations, and other agencies.
- Maintain and update a comprehensive database of contacts within corporate and governmental sectors.
Competitor Analysis
- Monitor competitors by gathering and analyzing information on pricing, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.
Reporting and Documentation
- Prepare and present corporate sales reports, sales campaign plans, corporate visit summaries, and customer databases.
- Generate and submit various reports as required by the immediate supervisor and EIPL management.
Qualifications and Skills:
Educational Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in Management with a minimum of 2 years or Bachelor's Degree in Management with a minimum of 4 years of experience in automobile sales.
- Proven expertise in building relationships with and closing sales to governmental organizations.
Required Competencies:
- Excellent computer skills, including MS Office proficiency.
- Strong creative, communication, and leadership skills.
- Aptitude for decision-making and delivering quality work.
- Closing and prospecting skills to identify and secure opportunities.
