Job Description
As a Sales Officer, you will play a crucial role in executing Sales strategies and engaging with consumers in various internal and external locations. You will be responsible for developing and implementing Sales plans, tailoring message to individual interactions, and gathering leads to drive business growth. This role requires a strong understanding of Sales principles, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing situations.Responsibilities:
•Develop and Execute Field Sales Plans: Collaborate with the sales/marketing team to create an annual field Sales plan that aligns with sales pipeline and revenue objectives.
•Monitor and Report on Sales and Marketing Effectiveness: Put systems in place to track and analyze the effectiveness of sales and marketing activities. Report key metrics such as pipeline, growth, cost per lead, and conversion rates.
•Budget Management: Manage Sales budgets associated with sales. Track expenses and ensure spending stays within budget.
•Research and Best Practices: Continuously research new and effective Sales strategies and implement best practices to enhance sales efforts.
•Monthly Business Reviews: Participate in monthly business reviews with the executive team and clients to assess the impact of sales efforts.
•Networking and Training: Build and nurture relationships with potential leads through networking. Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on new sales program and philosophies.
•Localization: Tailor sales efforts to specific geographic regions to drive activity across the sales funnel.
•Team Collaboration: Work closely with the larger sales and marketing team to coordinate company-wide campaign efforts and ensure consistency in sales and marketing.
•Trade Shows and Events: Actively incorporate trade shows and events into lead-generation campaigns to expand the reach of marketing efforts.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
• 2 years plus experience in related field with hospitality background preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership and collaboration skills.
• Strong work ethic with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
• Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Strategic and critical thinking skills with a focus on pipeline growth and closure.
• Fluency in products and services offered by the company.
• Two-wheeler is a must.
The Field Sales Officer role requires a dynamic individual who can adapt to various external environments, effectively communicate the company's message, and contribute to the growth of the business through strategic marketing efforts. He/she also should be comfortable with outstation travel.
