General overview of the role


The role of a Paid Social Specialist involves developing, implementing, and managing paid social media campaigns across various platforms. They work closely with the marketing team to drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversions through effective social media advertising strategies. Additionally, the Paid Social Specialist conducts in-depth market research to identify target audiences, optimizes campaign performance through data analysis, and stays updated with the latest trends and best practices in social media advertising.


Typical duties and responsibilities

· Develop, execute, and manage paid social media campaigns across platforms like Facebook, Google, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.

· Create and implement comprehensive paid social media strategies aligned with marketing goals and target audiences.

· Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, including CTR, CPC, CPA, ROAS, and adjust strategies to optimize results.

· Manage and allocate budgets effectively across campaigns to ensure optimal performance and ROI.

· Collaborate with designers and content creators to develop compelling ad creatives, copy, and landing pages.

· Prepare and present regular performance reports, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders.

· Stay updated on industry trends, platform updates, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.

· Conduct A/B tests to optimize ad performance, including testing different ad formats, audiences, and bidding strategies.

· Develop and refine audience targeting strategies to reach the right customers and achieve campaign objectives.

· Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and analytics, to align efforts and achieve shared goals.


Required skills and experience

· 3+ years of proven experience in managing paid social media Ads.

· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.

· Proficiency in social media advertising platforms (e.g., Facebook Ads Manager, Google Ads), analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics), and Microsoft Office Suite.

· Strong understanding of social media trends, advertising strategies, and best practices.

· Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Experience with advanced targeting strategies, retargeting, and multichannel marketing campaigns.

Preferred skills and experience

· Relevant certifications in social media advertising or digital marketing (e.g., Facebook Blueprint, Google Ads Certification).

· Familiarity with SEO principles and how they apply to social media Ads..

· Familiarity with video advertising and content creation for social media, including understanding best practices for engaging video ads.

· Ability to stay updated with the latest trends and changes in social media algorithms and advertising policies to ensure campaigns are effective and compliant and run the social media Ads.
