About the role
The Student Recruitment Officer (SRO) for University Partnership Australasia (UPAA) plays a pivotal role in supporting and driving the success of student recruitment activities in the assigned region. Working collaboratively with the Student Recruitment Manager, the SRO will contribute to the achievement of sales growth and student recruitment targets for UPAA.
The position entails active participation in a variety of ground-level activities such as agent training, lead generation, and student conversion efforts. The SRO will also address specific enquiries from students, parents, and agents, ensuring a seamless recruitment process. This role demands excellent coordination and relationship management skills to engage effectively with a broad spectrum of stakeholders, fostering long-term growth for University Partnership Australasia in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Operationalize student recruitment plans in the relevant country/territory in collaboration with Student Recruitment Manager.
- Supporting and coordinating with key stakeholders to deliver enhance conversion numbers.
- Participate in sales activities including, but not limited to, training, student conversion, information sessions and managing enquiries/agent requests
- Attention to detail and accuracy delivering high calibre student applications.
- First point of contact for student and agent enquiries.
- Manage leads with an expectation of conversion
- Ensure complete and accurate reporting of all activities on the CRM and the Application Management System. This includes report generation and distribution as required

- Bachelor's degree
- Proven track record of strong sales performance
- Proven ability as a team player
- Ability to demonstrate innovative thinking
- An eye for developing new recruitment initiatives
- Ability to take responsibility for decisions and outcomes
- Flexible attitude with willingness to work during weekends in support of recruitment activities
- Ability to support meeting targets within defined timelines among changing priorities
Desirable
- Success in a sales role within the Higher Education sector
- Proven ability to monitor and evaluate the success of activities and report appropriately
- Proven ability to work successfully with education agents
- Experience of working effectively within a matrix structure to ensure competing demands are met
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM systems
