Position: Business Development Manager 

Department: Business Development 

Reports To: President 

Location: Kathmandu, Nepal 

Overview 


We are establishing a new Business Development department to enhance client engagement and drive growth by re-engaging past clients, expanding active client relationships, and creating new opportunities. As the Business Development Manager, you will play a central role in building this department, serving as a key point of contact for VIP clients, leveraging data-driven decision-making, and bringing exceptional documentation, reporting, and presentation skills to the role. 


Key Responsibilities 

Client Engagement & Relationship Building 

  1. Establish and maintain strong, active relationships with assigned clients, focusing on consistent and meaningful interactions. 
  2. Reconnect with past clients to explore new opportunities and rekindle professional relationships. 
  3. Act as the primary contact for key clients, managing strategic initiatives and ensuring a positive client experience. 

Business Development & Repeat Business 

  1. Generate repeat business by offering tailored solutions and securing contracts that meet client needs. 
  2. Expand client partnerships through effective negotiation and collaboration, driving long-term value. 

Client Satisfaction & Revenue Growth 

  1. Deliver exceptional service to achieve high client satisfaction, addressing needs proactively. 
  2. Contribute to revenue growth by identifying opportunities within the client portfolio and implementing targeted strategies. 

Data-Driven Decision-Making & Reporting 

  1. Analyze client and market data to identify trends, improve strategies, and uncover growth opportunities. 
  2. Develop and present detailed reports to track performance, guide decision-making, and showcase results. 

Documentation & Presentation 

  1. Create comprehensive documentation for processes, proposals, and client strategies to ensure clarity and consistency. 
  2. Deliver professional presentations to communicate ideas, progress, and results effectively to stakeholders. 

Collaboration & Process Improvement 

  1. Partner with internal teams, including Sales Operations and Talent Acquisition, to align efforts and achieve business objectives. 
  2. Contribute to refining and enhancing processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness within the Business Development team. 

Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement 

  1. Track and report key performance metrics related to client engagement, business growth, and overall impact. 
  2. Continuously refine strategies based on performance insights and feedback to achieve optimal outcomes. 

 


Required Qualifications 

Experience:  

  • Minimum of 5 years in business development, client engagement, or sales roles. 
  • Demonstrated ability to use data-driven decision-making to inform strategies. 
  • Experience serving as a key point of contact for VIP or high-profile clients. 
  • Experience working with American or Australian clients is essential. 

Skills:  

  • Proficiency in generating and analyzing reports using Excel (advanced Excel skills preferred). 
  • Strong documentation and presentation skills, with an eye for detail and professionalism. 
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Education:  
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Familiarity with CRM tools and experience in the IT staffing or consulting industry.
