Our Client is a global advisory firm specializing in geopolitical insights and strategic policy development. We are seeking a dedicated Geopolitical Consultant to provide in-depth expertise on Tibetan governance, Buddhist culture, and its global relationships. This role requires sensitivity to complex historical and political contexts, offering a unique opportunity to shape strategic insights on the region.
Role Description
This is a part-time remote role for a Geopolitical Consultant focusing on the Tibetan region. Due to the need for expertise, only those experienced in the mentioned region are welcome to apply for the vacancy.
The consultant will be responsible for analyzing geopolitics focusing on Tibetan regional trends, governance, Buddhism in in decision making and providing strategic recommendations, and conducting research on geopolitical issues in Tibetan region.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research on Tibetan geopolitical landscapes, including governance, policies, international relations, and cultural contexts.
- Analyze the political and governance frameworks of Tibetan leadership in exile.
- Provide strategic insights to guide decision-making on Tibet-related matters.
- Collaborate with think tanks, cultural institutions, and academic bodies to ensure accurate reporting and advisory.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in International Relations, Political Science, Tibetan Studies, or a related field.
- Expertise in Tibetan governance, culture, and geopolitical issues.
- Strong network or prior engagement with organizations such as the Tibet Policy Institute or any other Institute for Higher Education.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Proficiency in English and familiarity with Tibetan language or cultural nuances is an advantage.
