Responsibilities
• Guide students in selecting suitable colleges/universities, courses, and countries based on their academic qualifications, career goals, and preferences.
• Assist students in preparing and submitting university applications, ensuring compliance with institutions’ criteria and deadlines.
• Provide guidance on student visa requirements and processes, including assistance with visa applications and related documentation.
• Conduct interview preparation sessions for students.
• Inform and assist students with scholarship and financial aid opportunities for studying abroad.
• Maintain consistent communication with students throughout the application process and post-admission to ensure a smooth transition.
• Stay updated on changes in global education systems, visa policies, and university admission requirements to provide accurate advice.
• Maintain a database of potential students and conduct regular follow-ups to ensure ongoing engagement.
• Manage and update student records, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for reporting and follow-up.
Qualifications
• Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in student counseling or admission within the education sector.
• Knowledge: In-depth understanding of international education systems, visa regulations, and university admission processes.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to connect with students and parents, providing clear, empathetic, and personalized guidance.
• Organizational Skills: Capable of managing multiple student applications simultaneously with high attention to detail.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in using MS Office, CRM software, and other relevant tools.
• Adaptability: Ability to stay updated with changing trends in global education and immigration policies.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated ability to resolve student concerns effectively and efficiently.
• Time Management: Ability to meet deadlines and handle high-pressure situations during peak application seasons.
