Summary

Cedar Gate Services is looking for highly skilled Principal Data QA Engineers to join our team. As a Principal Data QA Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our healthcare IT solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design Contribute to the creation and maintenance of QA documentation, data quality assurance strategies, and processes
• Design, develop, and execute automated and manual test cases to ensure data quality
• Stay up to date with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in software quality assurance
• Mentor and provide guidance to data QA engineers, share knowledge, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the QA team's skills and capabilities
• Evaluate and recommend data quality tools, testing frameworks, and technologies
• Conduct root cause analysis for data quality issues and work with relevant teams to implement corrective actions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data quality issues and drive resolution
• Integrate data quality tools with existing data platforms and workflows
• Implement and monitor data quality metrics and KPIs to track and report on data quality status
• Ensure that data quality processes are scalable and adaptable to handle large volumes of data

Required Experience / Qualifications

• Bachelor's Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 6+ years of relevant experience
• Proven experience in leading QA teams, providing direction and support in achieving project goals
• Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and validating large datasets
• Familiarity with ETL processes, data warehousing, and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to conduct root cause analysis for data issues
• Experience in Test Management, Test Automation Tools, and Defect Tracking Tools
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of the US healthcare system, including knowledge of industry standards such as HIPAA and experience with healthcare claims processing systems
