Position overview
The core responsibilities are:
Content Scheduling and Management:
- Plan, create, and schedule engaging and high-quality content across all social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and others.
- Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent and timely posting.
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and interactions in a timely and professional manner.
Meta Ad Campaigns:
- Develop, execute, and manage paid advertising campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, and other Meta platforms.
- Create compelling ad copy, visuals, and videos to maximize engagement and conversion rates.
- Monitor and analyse ad performance, adjusting strategies and budgets to optimize results.
SEO and Content Optimization:
- Implement SEO best practices in social media content to improve visibility and search rankings.
- Conduct keyword research and integrate relevant keywords into social media posts, profiles, and campaigns.
- Collaborate with the content team to ensure that all social media content aligns with overall SEO strategy.
Analytics and Reporting:
- Track and analyse social media performance metrics using tools such as Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, and other analytics platforms.
- Prepare regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success of social media campaigns.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data to improve future campaigns.
Community Engagement:
- Foster and grow online communities by engaging with followers, influencers, and industry professionals.
- Identify and engage with brand advocates to amplify reach and impact.
- Organize and manage online events, contests, and giveaways to increase engagement and brand loyalty.
Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the company's marketing goals and objectives.
- Stay updated with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to ensure the company remains competitive.
- Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to align social media efforts with overall marketing campaigns.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with the design and content teams to create visually appealing and on-brand social media assets.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all channels.
- Provide training and guidance to team members on social media best practices and tools.
Crisis Management:
- Monitor social media channels for potential issues or crises and respond appropriately.
- Develop and implement a crisis communication plan to address and mitigate any negative incidents.
Selection Criteria
Certifications:
· Relevant certifications in digital marketing, social media management, or SEO (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Blueprint).
Industry Knowledge:
· Understanding of the specific industry or niche the company operates in, with the ability to tailor content and strategies accordingly.
Working Experience:
- Proven experience (3+ years) in social media management and digital marketing.
- Demonstrated experience in running successful Meta ad campaigns (Facebook, Instagram, etc.).
- Experience with SEO practices and tools, including keyword research and on-page optimization.
- Familiarity with content scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).
