Job Summary:

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented video editor to join our team. The video editor will be responsible for assembling recorded footage into a finished project that matches the vision and objectives of the company. This role involves working closely with content creators, marketers, and other team members to produce high-quality videos for various platforms, including social media, websites, advertisements, and presentations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Edit raw video footage and add effects, graphics, music, and sound to create engaging and professional video content.
  • Collaborate with the content and marketing teams to understand project requirements and deliver according to specifications.
  • Ensure consistency in style, quality, and branding across all video projects.
  • Review scripts, storyboards, and rough cuts to ensure timely delivery of final videos.
  • Manage and organize video files and archives efficiently.
  • Stay updated with the latest video editing technologies, tools, and trends to continuously improve video quality.
  • Optimize videos for different platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and company websites.
  • Handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Incorporate feedback and make necessary revisions promptly.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a video editor or similar role.
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of video formats, compression, and distribution.
  • Knowledge of motion graphics and animation software (e.g., After Effects) is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail and creativity.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills to understand project goals and collaborate effectively.
  • Basic knowledge of sound editing and color correction is preferred.
  • Ability to handle tight deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
Educational Qualifications:
  • A bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Studies, Digital Arts, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory based on experience.
Experience:
  • Minimum 1-3 years of professional video editing experience preferred.
