Job Summary:We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented video editor to join our team. The video editor will be responsible for assembling recorded footage into a finished project that matches the vision and objectives of the company. This role involves working closely with content creators, marketers, and other team members to produce high-quality videos for various platforms, including social media, websites, advertisements, and presentations.
Key Responsibilities:- Edit raw video footage and add effects, graphics, music, and sound to create engaging and professional video content.
- Collaborate with the content and marketing teams to understand project requirements and deliver according to specifications.
- Ensure consistency in style, quality, and branding across all video projects.
- Review scripts, storyboards, and rough cuts to ensure timely delivery of final videos.
- Manage and organize video files and archives efficiently.
- Stay updated with the latest video editing technologies, tools, and trends to continuously improve video quality.
- Optimize videos for different platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and company websites.
- Handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Incorporate feedback and make necessary revisions promptly.
- Proven experience as a video editor or similar role.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar.
- Strong understanding of video formats, compression, and distribution.
- Knowledge of motion graphics and animation software (e.g., After Effects) is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and creativity.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills to understand project goals and collaborate effectively.
- Basic knowledge of sound editing and color correction is preferred.
- Ability to handle tight deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
- A bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Studies, Digital Arts, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory based on experience.
- Minimum 1-3 years of professional video editing experience preferred.
