Senior Project Manager with QA expertise

Job Description

We seek a remote Senior Project Manager with QA expertise who thrives on taking initiative and proactively leading projects from start to finish. You'll oversee QA and project workflows across our mobile app, SaaS platforms, and internal technology projects, collaborating closely with our small development team. This role combines hands-on QA testing, automation, and clear project leadership for a small US startup working on internal projects in a global remote work environment.

What You’ll Do

• Manage and Lead Projects – Take full ownership of project workflows, timelines, and deliverables across our mobile app, SaaS products, and internal technology initiatives.
• Coordinate and Communicate – Act as the primary point of coordination, assigning tasks, managing resources, and clearly communicating priorities through Basecamp.
• Hands-On QA Testing – Conduct functional, regression, and user experience testing for mobile apps (iOS/Android), SaaS platforms, websites, APIs, and internal systems.
• Implement QA Automation – Identify and execute automated testing strategies to ensure efficiency and thoroughness in our QA process.
• Drive Issue Resolution – Proactively identify, document, prioritize, and resolve project roadblocks and technical issues to ensure smooth project progress.

What We’re Looking For

• Around 5 Years of Project Management and QA Experience – Proven track record managing technical projects and hands-on QA testing (include links to projects or portfolio on your CV).
• Mobile and SaaS Experience – Demonstrable experience specifically testing and managing projects related to mobile apps, SaaS products, APIs, and internal software tools.
• Relevant Education – Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field required.
• Experience with Automation – Proven ability to implement and maintain automated testing frameworks to streamline QA efforts.
• Excellent English Skills – Exceptional communication skills (written and spoken) required.
• Proactive Leadership – Must show initiative, decisiveness, and the ability to independently manage and lead projects effectively in a startup environment.
