Job Description
As a Software Quality Assurance (QA) Intern, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will collaborate closely with the development and product teams to identify, report, and help resolve defects, contributing to delivering a seamless user experience. Success in this role means demonstrating attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude toward continuous learning and improvement. This internship offers hands-on experience in QA methodologies and tools, providing a foundation for a career in software quality assurance or testing.
- Design, execute, and document test cases for new and existing software features to ensure functionality, usability, and performance meet requirements.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand feature specifications and user requirements.
- Identify, report, and track bugs or issues clearly and comprehensively using the company’s issue tracking tools.
- Participate in regression testing and support continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes by running automated or manual tests.
- Help maintain and improve test documentation and QA processes to enhance team efficiency and product quality.
- Communicate findings and status updates clearly with cross-functional teams.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and tools in software testing and quality assurance.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
- Familiarity with manual and/or automated testing concepts and tools is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and adapt quickly.
