Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Data Collection Intern to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a fresher or intern with less than 1 year of experience to contribute to our platform by collecting and organizing data from vendors. If you’re passionate about data collection and excel at data organization, we’d love to have you on board!
Key Responsibilities
- Collect accurate data on parts, tools and electronics components (e.g., mobile phone batteries, screens, soldering irons, workbenches, microscopes, and other repair equipment) directly from vendors via emails, calls, field visit or vendor-provided resources.
- Gather detailed information on product specifications and their variants, pricing, and availability from vendor catalogs or communications.
- Enter and import collected data into our platform with precision, ensuring consistency and proper formatting.
- Verify the accuracy of vendor-provided data to maintain high-quality and reliable records.
- Organize and maintain data in a structured format for seamless integration into our system.
- Communicate with vendors to clarify product details, specifications, or availability as needed.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure timely and accurate data entry to support platform operations.
Qualifications
- Less than 1 year of professional experience (ideal for freshers or interns).
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry tasks.
- Basic knowledge of electronics devices/components is a plus but not required.
- Can work with Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, or similar tools for data organization and entry.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with vendors and team members.
- Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing repetitive tasks efficiently.
