Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with international and local suppliers for competitive pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
  • Handle and process international purchases through LC, TT, and other trade finance instruments.
  • Coordinate with banks and suppliers for the preparation, review, and issuance of Letters of Credit and related documentation.
  • Track, monitor, and follow up on international shipments to ensure timely delivery and proper documentation.
  • Maintain procurement records, vendor database, and purchase history.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and relevant government import/export regulations.
  • Liaise with internal departments (logistics, finance, inventory, etc.) to ensure procurement needs are met effectively.
  • Prepare procurement reports, cost analysis, and purchase planning.
  • Resolve supplier issues, including delivery delays, quality concerns, and payment disputes.
Requirements:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in procurement or international trade, preferably in manufacturing, trading, or import-export industries.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Solid understanding of Letter of Credit (LC), Telegraphic Transfer (TT), and other international payment mechanisms.
  • Knowledge of import procedures, documentation, and Incoterms.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and procurement software (ERP is a plus).
  • High attention to detail, organizational ability, and analytical thinking.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
