Overview

The Management Information System (MIS) Officer plays a crucial role in the efficient management and utilization of an organization’s data systems. This position is responsible for ensuring that all necessary data is accurately captured, processed, and reported in a manner that aligns with the organization’s strategic objectives. The MIS Officer serves as a data steward, tasked with the oversight and improvement of information systems to support decision-making across various departments. By analyzing data trends, generating insightful reports, and providing technical support and training, the MIS Officer enhances operational efficiency and ensures compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support and maintenance to existing management information systems (MIS).
  • Planning, coordinating and directing all computer-related activities within an organization.
  • Generate and distribute management reports in accurate and timely manner.
  • Develops MIS documentation to allow for smooth operations and easy system maintenance·
  • Monthly Budgeting and setting guidelines for Sales promotion activities
  • Provide recommendations to update current MIS to improve reporting efficiency and consistency·
  • Perform data analysis for generating reports on periodic basis.
  • Monthly Preparation of Scheme letters.
  • Tracking the Purchase, Sales & Inventory in Systems·
  • Provide strong reporting and analytical information support to management team.
  • Monthly preparation and finalization of Computation Sheets for Sales promotion Payout·
  • Follow up with Partners for claim documentation·
  • Analyze business information to identify process improvements for increasing business efficiency and effectiveness

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Management , or a related field.
  • 3- 4 years of experience in MIS or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in database management and data analysis software.
  • Experience with statistical software (e.g., SAS, SPSS) is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of data governance and compliance issues.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with visual data presentation tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
