Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled IT Manager to lead the technology operations of Pharma Life, ensuring the smooth functioning of our pharmacy network’s digital infrastructure. The IT Manager will be responsible for managing and maintaining the software ecosystem that supports the operation of multiple medical and chain stores, handling inventory management, supply chain automation, and customer-facing digital solutions.
Key Responsibilities
IT Infrastructure & Systems Management:
- Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise software for pharmacy operations, including inventory, billing, CRM, and supply chain systems.
- Ensure seamless integration and connectivity of over 2,000 pharmacy locations through a robust digital infrastructure.
- Manage cloud-based and on-premise IT systems, ensuring data security and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with software development teams to enhance the custom pharmacy management system.
- Work with third-party vendors and technology partners to integrate payment gateways, telemedicine solutions, and e-commerce functionalities.
- Manage software deployment, testing, and updates while minimizing operational disruptions.
- Ensure cybersecurity measures are in place to protect sensitive medical data and customer records.
- Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and IT security protocols in Nepal.
- Implement disaster recovery and data backup strategies.
- Oversee the AI-powered supply chain system to optimize stock levels, reduce wastage, and improve availability.
- Utilize data analytics to track consumer demand, sales trends, and operational efficiency.
- Lead the IT support team to ensure 24/7 system uptime and troubleshooting for all pharmacy locations.
- Provide technical training to pharmacy staff on new systems and tools.
- Develop IT policies and best practices for digital transformation.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in IT management, preferably in retail, healthcare, or supply chain industries.
- Proven experience with ERP, POS, CRM, and inventory management systems.
- Strong knowledge of cloud computing (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud), cybersecurity, and database management.
- Experience in AI-driven analytics, automation, and business intelligence tools.
- Leadership skills with the ability to manage IT teams and external vendors.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking capabilities.
