Position Title: IT Counselor & Operations Officer

Location: Putalisadak, Kathmandu

Reports To: Director/Operations Head


We are looking for an experienced IT Counselor & Operations Officer to join our team. This dual-role position will involve providing expert IT guidance to students and professionals, as well as managing the day-to-day operations of our training institute. The ideal candidate will have a blend of IT expertise, counseling skills, and operational management experience to ensure smooth institute operations and high-quality training services.


Key Responsibilities:

IT Counseling & Guidance:

  • Provide personalized IT career counseling to students and professionals, guiding them on various tech-related courses, certifications, and career paths.
  • Offer advice on emerging technologies, IT certifications, and job market trends.
  • Conduct one-on-one sessions and group discussions to help students develop their IT skills and career strategies.
  • Assist in course selection, tailoring learning paths for individual needs and career goals.
  • Stay updated on the latest IT trends and continuously improve counseling services to match industry demands.


Operational & Activity Management:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the training institute, ensuring a smooth and efficient environment for staff and students.
  • Manage course schedules, trainers, and classroom activities to ensure maximum engagement and productivity.
  • Coordinate and supervise the execution of training programs, workshops, and other institute activities.
  • Monitor resource allocation, including trainers, training materials, and equipment, to ensure all resources are utilized effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with institute policies, procedures, and educational standards.
  • Prepare reports and monitor KPIs related to training outcomes, student satisfaction, and operational efficiency.


Administrative Support:

  • Coordinate with faculty and administrative staff to streamline processes and ensure effective communication.
  • Handle inquiries from prospective students, providing them with information about courses, admissions, and other institute services.
  • Assist in the preparation of training materials, course documentation, and promotional materials.
  • Maintain accurate student records, attendance logs, and performance assessments.



Qualifications & Skills:

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Certification in career counseling or guidance is a plus.


Experience:

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in IT counseling or similar advisory roles.
  • Proven experience in managing operations, preferably in an educational or training setting.
  • Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and online training platforms.
  • Background in customer service or student relations is an advantage.


Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of IT industry trends, emerging technologies, and certification pathways.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and counseling skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to manage and resolve conflicts and work effectively under pressure.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and other standard office software.
  • Basic knowledge of IT support systems and tools.
