Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with a strong background in Artificial intelligence (AI) and Software development to lead and oversee end-to-end project lifecycles. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience as a developer and a deep understanding of AI principles and methodologies. You will be responsible for managing complex AI-driven software projects while mentoring teams, driving innovation, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage AI and software development projects from inception to deployment, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, developers, and stakeholders, to define project scopes, goals, and deliverables.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk assessments.
• Monitor and report on project progress, addressing challenges and adapting strategies to meet goals effectively.
• Provide technical guidance in AI model development, software architecture, and integration processes.
• Drive innovation by identifying and implementing emerging AI technologies and best practices.
• Ensure the successful deployment and scaling of AI solutions, while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a senior project management role within the IT industry.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a software developer, with demonstrated expertise in AI technologies.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML frameworks, algorithms, and tools (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Proficiency in programming languages such as React, Django, Python, Java, or similar.
• Experience in software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello).
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable project plans.
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

Preferred Skills:

• Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile Scrum Master).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with data engineering, big data technologies, and database management.
• Experience in client-facing roles and stakeholder management.
