Job Title: Sales Officer – Bus Division

Department: Sales & Marketing

Location: Kathmandu, Nepalgunj, Birgunj, Butwal, Itahari, Birtamode, Pokhara

Reporting To: Business Head – EV Bus Division


Summary

The Sales Officer – Bus Division will support the sales and marketing operations for the Electric Bus segment. This role will focus on lead generation, client engagement, sales execution, and post-sales coordination to ensure customer satisfaction and achievement of sales targets. The position requires strong interpersonal skills, market awareness, and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.


Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Client Engagement

  • Generate new business leads through networking, cold calls, market visits, and referrals.
  • Engage with potential clients to present product features, benefits, and value propositions.
  • Assist in preparing and delivering product demonstrations, roadshows, and presentations.
  • Negotiate sales terms within approved guidelines and close deals.

Sales Process and Coordination

  • Support the end-to-end sales cycle from inquiry to delivery.
  • Coordinate with the supply chain, service, and marketing teams for smooth order processing.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity reports.

Market Research and Reporting

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and upcoming public/private sector projects.
  • Share market intelligence and recommendations with the Business Head for strategy planning.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales performance updates.

Marketing and Promotional Activities

  • Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns, roadshows, and events.
  • Support branding and awareness-building initiatives for the EV Bus segment.
  • Distribute promotional materials and ensure visibility in targeted markets.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (Automotive/Engineering background preferred).
  • 2–4 years of sales experience, preferably in the automotive or commercial vehicle industry.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.
  • Basic understanding of electric vehicles and public transport systems is an advantage.
