Summary

Cedar Gate Services is looking for a Learning & Development (L&D) Officer to join our team. The L&D Officer will design, deliver, and manage training programs to enhance employees' skills and knowledge, ultimately contributing to the organization's goals. This role involves assessing needs, developing materials, facilitating learning, and evaluating program effectiveness.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and deliver a variety of training programs aligned with organizational goals
• Design and maintain technical courses on the LMS by developing engaging, trainer-ready content, including guides, visuals, eLearning modules, and multimedia for effective training delivery
• Utilize authoring tools such as Camtasia or similar platforms to develop multimedia content
• Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to get the information you need and shape it into accessible, high-quality content
• Rapidly learn and assimilate complex technical concepts, ensuring a strong understanding of our products and services
• Ensure content is always accurate, up-to-date, and easy to follow, supporting both internal teams and external users
• Track and evaluate training metrics to measure effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and implement data-driven enhancements
• Deliver new employee onboarding session and clearly communicate company values, policies, culture and onboarding process
• Maintain and update accurate employee training records and regularly verify them to ensure compliance standards and adherence to company policies
  
  

Required Experience / Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology , Computer Science, or a relevant field (or equivalent)
• At least 2 year of work experience in Learning & Development, Training , or a similar role
• Experience with or willingness to learn web-based learning platforms and modern learning techniques
• Familiarity with tools like LITMOS and Camtasia will be an advantage
• Experience in organizing events such as seminars, workshops, and conferences
• Good communication skills with the ability to explain technical terms plainly
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization
• Ability to adapt and be flexible in taking on new tasks and challenges as needed
