Assistant Flight Dispatcher (4345 days left)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Comply with safety responsibilities and accountabilities
• Collect updated NOTAMs/Meteorological Reports for operational safety
• Anticipation (where possible) of potential effects on the schedule due to weather phenomena, fuel shortage, insurgency, industrial action etc.
• Assist Duty Manager for Day-to-Day Operational Control and Flight Dispatch job in accordance with applicable regulations and HIM SOP
• Assist to PIC in Flight preparation / File ATC flight plans with the appropriate ATS unit and Sign, whenever required
• Constant Flight Watch / Flight monitor during all phase of flight(s)
• Notify the appropriate ATS unit when the position of the aircraft cannot be determined by aircraft tracking capability.
• In the event of Delay Disruption(s)/ Abnormal Operation(s) Coordinate / Communicate with all Operational Department / Units for smooth handling 
• Liaising with base station / outstation(s) ATS unit/ HIM networking regarding last-minute changes in the operational matters.
• Any other job(s) assigned by Supervisor or specified in Flight Dispatch Manual
• Avoid taking any action that would conflict with ATC procedures / The meteorological service / ATS Communication Center and Authority of PIC
