Job Description
Job Summary:
The Health Assistant (HA) will support healthcare professionals by assisting with patient care, performing administrative tasks, and ensuring the smooth operation of healthcare facilities. This role requires a compassionate individual who is detail-oriented, organized, and can handle various responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
- Assist in examining and treating patients under the supervision of healthcare professionals.
- Prepare patients for procedures, including taking Sample collection from office management.
- Provide basic patient care, such as wound dressing, administering medication as directed, and monitoring patient conditions.
Administrative Duties:
- Manage patient records and update information in electronic health systems.
- Assist with billing, insurance claims, and other financial documentation as needed.
- Maintain inventory of medical supplies and ensure that equipment is properly sanitized and maintained.
Support Healthcare Team:
- Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals to ensure patient care is coordinated and of high quality.
- Handle phone inquiries, provide information to patients, and follow up on care instructions.
Compliance and Safety:
- Adhere to healthcare regulations, standards, and guidelines to ensure patient safety and confidentiality.
- Participate in continuous training and development to stay updated on healthcare practices and protocols.
- Follow infection control protocols and contribute to a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
Job Specification
Qualifications:
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent: Health Assistant (HA) with license or under attempt to take the license.
- Any relevant healthcare certifications are a plus.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and patient care.
Working Area:
- Inside valley
Working time:
- 7 am to 2 pm
