Job Description

Menu Creation: Develop and update the menu, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative dishes while maintaining traditional Chinese flavors and techniques.
Food Preparation: Oversee and participate in the preparation and cooking of all dishes, ensuring high standards of taste, presentation, and consistency.
Inventory Control: Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies, including ordering, storing, and maintaining stock levels to ensure freshness and quality.
Quality Control: Monitor food quality and presentation, addressing any issues to maintain high standards and customer satisfaction.
Health and Safety: Adhere to food safety regulations and health standards. Ensure that the kitchen is clean, organized, and compliant with all sanitation guidelines.
Customer Interaction: Occasionally interact with customers to gather feedback and make recommendations based on their preferences and dietary requirements.
Collaboration: Work closely with management and other team members to coordinate kitchen operations and contribute to the overall success of the restaurant.

Job Specification

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Dim Sum Chef to join our culinary team at Gaas Baas Co. This role is focused on preparing and crafting high-quality dim sum, that uphold our reputation for authentic, flavorful, and expertly presented cuisine.

Dim Sum Preparation: Create and prepare a variety of dimsum , including dumplings, buns, rolls, and other traditional items, ensuring consistency in taste, texture, and presentation.
