Job Description

Sundarharaicha Municipality, through the Nepal Urban Governance and Infrastructure Project, is seeking to fill the following position through a service contract for projects conducted within the municipality and other necessary office tasks. Qualified and interested Nepali citizens are invited to apply by obtaining the application form from the office and submitting it within 7 days from the date of this notice's publication.

A. Required Minimum Educational Qualifications and Experience:

Master's Degree in Highway/Transportation Engineering/Structural Engineering with a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
Experience in planning, designing, project management, construction supervision of roads/highways & stormwater drainage or other infrastructure projects.
Familiarity with the World Bank's 'Guidelines Procurement of Goods Works and Non-Consulting Services' is essential.
Experience in bilateral or multilateral or development partner-funded projects such as World Bank, ADB, etc.
Strong leadership, analytical, communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
Proven track record in planning and designing municipal roads infrastructure for urban cities.
Minimum General Experience: 7 years.
Minimum Specific Experience: 5 years.
