Job Description
Job ProfileJoin our client’s team who are seeking an detail-oriented QA Officer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products and systems. This role includes designing and executing test plans, identifying and documenting bugs, collaborating with development and product teams, and maintaining a high standard of quality across all deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, document, and execute manual and automated test plans for web and mobile applications.
- Identify, log, and track bugs using issue-tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand technical requirements.
- Ensure software meets internal standards and client specifications.
- Review system specifications and documentation for completeness and accuracy.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and automation frameworks.
- Prepare detailed test reports, summaries, and metrics for management and teams.
- CI/CD, ISTQB, Regression Testing, Performance Testing, Functional Testing, Bug Tracking, Jira, Bugzilla.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- At least 2 years of proven experience in software quality assurance or testing.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Proficient in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and bug reports.
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, JUnit).
- Knowledge of databases and ability to write basic SQL queries.
- Proficient in web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and API testing tools (e.g., Postman).
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Exposure to CI/CD tools and practices.
- ISTQB or equivalent certification (preferred).
- Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
