Job Title: Manager | Finance 

Location: Bakhundole, Lalitpur, Nepal

Shift:     Standard (09:00 AM to 06:00 PM) from Monday to Friday


The Manager | Finance is responsible for leading the company’s Nepal financial strategy, ensuring financial stability, compliance, and efficiency across multiple regions. This role requires strong expertise in international finance, risk management, M&A, taxation, and cross-border financial operations. The ideal candidate will work closely with executive leadership, regional finance teams, and key stakeholders to drive business growth, optimize financial performance, and align financial policies with business objectives.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Nepal Financial Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the business goals.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to executive leadership for long-term financial planning.
  • Lead financial forecasting, budgeting, and investment planning across international markets.
  • Manage capital allocation, cash flow, and cost optimization strategies.


2. Financial Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with international financial regulations, tax laws, and corporate governance standards.
  • Oversee financial reporting and audits to ensure accuracy and transparency.
  • Develop and enforce internal financial controls, risk mitigation strategies, and policies.
  • Implement standardized financial reporting frameworks.
  • Liaise with country offices to ensure compliance with local statutory and financial reporting requirements and local audit completion 


3. Treasury & Risk Management

  • Optimize treasury functions, currency risk management, and liquidity planning.
  • Manage banking relationships, debt financing, and investment portfolios.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks, including foreign exchange exposure, geopolitical risks, and economic fluctuations.


4. Mergers, Acquisitions & Strategic Investments

  • Conduct financial due diligence and valuation for mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures.
  • Lead post-merger integration of financial systems and reporting structures.
  • Evaluate investment opportunities and drive strategic financial decision-making.


5. Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Set the vision, strategy and culture as a senior resource.
  • Lead and mentor the Finance team..
  • Foster collaboration between finance and other business units to drive profitability and efficiency.
  • Build strong relationships with investors, regulatory authorities, auditors, and financial institutions.


Job Specifications

Education & Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration (MBA preferred).

Professional certification such as CA, CPA, CFA, ACCA is highly desirable.


Experience:

  • Minimum 7+ years of progressive relevant experience .
  • Proven track record in Nepal finance operations, corporate finance, and M&A.
  • Experience managing multi-country finance teams and cross-border transactions.
  • Strong understanding of IFRS, GAAP, international taxation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Background in Tech is a plus.

  • Strategic Financial Leadership – Ability to shape and drive financial strategies.
  • Cross-Border Financial Expertise – Knowledge of international finance, FX risks, and tax structures.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills – Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis capabilities.
  • Leadership & Stakeholder Management – Experience leading Nepal teams and engaging with C-suite executives.
  • Tech & Digital Finance Acumen – Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite), AI-driven finance tools, and automation.
  • Regulatory & Compliance Expertise – Deep understanding of Nepal financial regulations and risk management frameworks.
