About the Role

Global IT Career is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join one of our prestigious US-based healthcare clients. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience in healthcare domain projects, and the ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions.



Key Responsibilities
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications for development teams.
  • Collaborate with product owners, developers, QA, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on deliverables.
  • Perform gap analysis and impact assessment for system enhancements and new implementations.
  • Develop process workflows, user stories, and detailed use cases.
  • Assist in defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with business goals.
  • Facilitate requirement workshops, JAD sessions, and stakeholder meetings.
  • Validate deliverables through UAT and ensure business requirements are met.
  • Provide domain expertise in healthcare processes and compliance (HIPAA, HL7, EDI, etc.).

Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 4+ years in healthcare projects.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare processes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
  • Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Office Suite, and BA modeling tools.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced, global environment.

Preferred Skills
  • Experience with HIPAA compliance, HL7 standards, or EDI transactions.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Familiarity with US healthcare ecosystem (Claims, EMR/EHR systems).
