Local Business Launch Consultant / Accompanying Analyst (Nepal, Temporary Contract with Long-term Potential)
Maxim, an international ride-hailing and delivery service, is looking for a local consultant to assist with an initial market exploration for potential business expansion in Nepal.
What you’ll be doing:
• Meet our team at the airport (Kathmandu) and stay available 24/7 for 10–14 days.
• Accompany the team across cities (Kathmandu, Pokhara, etc.): guide us through local infrastructure and help with logistics.
• Provide oral and written insights on:
• Daily life and cultural context;
• Economic and social realities;
• Local specifics of working with drivers, government bodies, and advertising;
• Interpret between English and Nepali when needed;
• Share your perspective on launch feasibility: risks, opportunities, and local nuances.
Our ideal candidate:
• Speaks fluent English or Russian and Nepali;
• Has experience in logistics, marketing, startups, ride-hailing, e-commerce, or related fields;
• Can explain ideas clearly, solve problems quickly, and help organize travel and meetings;
• Has strong local contacts and knowledge: transportation, advertising, government, and business environment;
• Available for a flexible full-time schedule for 2 weeks;
• Most importantly: motivated to grow and potentially take on a leadership role with Maxim in Nepal if the project moves forward.
